Get your iPhone to read to you
Your iPhone/iPad can read text aloud to you in English and a variety of other European languages to help you to learn/revise poetry, quotes, definitions, synopsis and other notes/teaching/learning materials. Check out our two videos below showing how to get your iPhone/iPad to:
-
read text from digital text
-
read from hard copies of text in English and other European languages.
Getting your iPhone/iPad to read from DIGITAL text
Students can use tools built into their iPhone/iPad to get websites, electronic text and notes shared by teachers online read that text aloud to them. Be sure to use some of these tools to read new languages to students to help prepare for their oral and aural exams too.
If your school shares learning materials with students online get students to access these texts on their phones and get the phone to read them aloud.
This video will take you through how to use Speak Selection and Speak Screen on your iPhone/iPad to read electronic text aloud to you:
Getting your iPhone/iPad to read from a HARD COPY OF TEXT
